The
old blacksmith
workshop
was founded
in 1640 by
Zendenofano Fumagalli
in the town of Pioltello (Milan) and handed down from father to
son for six generations.
The work
of Genesio
Fumagalli, the last
member
of the family, can be
seen at
Buckingham Palace
(London),
in
the chapel at Milano Linate airport and at the Istitute of the
Ordine Ospedaliero Fatebenefratelli (Milan).
His work can also be found in Germany, Togo and Uganda. |
